Dr Amy Wong Ten Yuen is an independent GP who is originally from the small tropical island of Mauritius. Amy relocated to Australia in 2008 to pursue her Bachelor of Biomedicine followed by her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne. Amy then ventured to London, where she gained valuable experience working in emergency medicine. Returning to Australia, Amy completed her general practice training in the picturesque town of Lakes Entrance, before starting her next chapter on the Peninsula. She enjoys the varied nature of family medicine. Her special interests include women’s health and skin cancer medicine. She strives to provide the best possible healthcare to the community she serves, by empowering her patients through education and involving them in the decision-making process.
