Dear Patients
You may have heard that the government is introducing new incentives to encourage private general practices to move to fully bulk billing all patients. While we strongly support the intention behind these changes — making healthcare more accessible — we’ve carefully reviewed the impact on our clinic and the services we provide.
The fully bulk billing model does not cover the costs of the service we provide.
We remain committed to providing you with high-quality, personalised healthcare — including longer consultations when needed, continuity of care, and timely access to a full range of services. To maintain this standard, our current fee structure will remain unchanged.
We understand that cost is an important consideration, and we do our best to keep fees reasonable. Medicare rebates continue to be available for eligible services, and our staff are happy to assist with any questions regarding billing or claims.
Thank you for your continued trust and understanding.

Our practice was established in 1989. Our nurse and admin staff have assisted independent GPs care for individuals and families as they grow through the generations. The GPs we support care for you beyond the clinic. They want you to maintain your health even when you’re not here. Our staff support your GP to educate you on how to manage any chronic health conditions, advise you on avoiding illness and support your health goals.
The qualified independent general practitioners consulting from MMVC have special interests that include antenatal care, womens and mens health, LGBTQI+ health, mental health, skin cancer checks, minor procedures, chronic health care, adolescent and child health, ENT, haematology, oncology, sports medicine, travel medicine and vaccinations.
Our delightful nursing team are highly trained to support your GP and offer a wide range of services to their patients including chronic health care and health assessments, wound management, vaccinations, ear syringing, iron infusions, emergency triage, blood pressure and heart monitors.
Our practice fosters a culture of respect with a strong foundation of care and compassion. We welcome diversity in individuals with warmth in a friendly, non-judgemental environment.
We continuously invest in latest technology and commit to ongoing education for our staff to reach their full potential – in and out of the workplace. The independent GPs we support pride themselves on continuous professional development and are involved in mentoring, teaching future clinicians and ethical treatments with passionate discussions as common place in the clinic.
Mount Martha Village Clinic is committed to providing quality facilities and services to your GP.
We take pride in supporting your GP, allowing them to take a whole person approach to providing care to their patients.
